IT Auditor / Data Specialist

 

Mission

Galp is seeking an internal auditor/ data specialist that will have a key role in the execution of fully data-oriented internal audit projects, in strategic topics for the organization, with multi-disciplinary skills in Data Analytics and Technology. This role will develop data analysis and data visualizations running on a continuous basis, identify exceptions, outliers and opportunities for improvement in order to strengthen Galp’s internal control environment.


What you'll do
•    Support Audit Analytics Team in the execution of Data Analytics Strategy in Internal Audit Department;
•    Actively participate in the design and implementation of continuous auditing tools and dashboards/ reports that efficiently summarize results;
•    Proactively lead the development and execution of full-data and continuous audit initiatives in strategic topics; 
•    Work closely with champions and Audit Leads in the department to identify opportunities to apply Data Analytics;
•    Perform massive data analysis and support on the internal audit automation path; 
•    Collaboration with the audit team in the assessment of IT general controls; 
•    Execute independent IT, operational and business process audits to evaluate the level of compliance with established policies, procedures, best-practices and standards; 

 

What you'll need
•    University Degree in Computer Engineering, Management, Economics or Math;
•    Minimum two to three years of professional experience;
•    Knowledge of data analytical tools, including programming/automation languages (e.g. SQL, Python, Power BI, UiPath, PowerAutomate)
•    Highly proficient in English (written and spoken);
•    Strong analytical and quantitative skills; 
•    Advanced skills level in Excel along with financial reporting systems is highly preferred (e.g. SAP); 
•    Knowledge of Institute of Internal Audit standards valued (not mandatory);
•    ITIL, Cobit certifications valued (not mandatory).
