Commercial
Through a customer-centred approach, you will join the Commercial business unit that provides a complete and integrated offer, which includes oil products, natural gas, and electricity. Apart from these, it also offers convenience products and services and multi-energy proposals, such as charging stations for electric vehicles or decentralised solar energy solutions.
About your future Team:
Establishing a robust internal risk management process within Commercial BU to work as a value enabler across organization, creating an effective impact on day-to-day management activities and enhancing decision-making process from a risk point of view.
How will your day-to-day look like:
• Implement Commercial internal risk management process and ensure that high-standard risk practices are deployed across all businesses and geographies in compliance with internal norms and policies.
• Lead, as LRO, the interface with Corporate Risk team (DGR), addressing special requests and supporting regular corporate risk activities such as risk assessment, KRI monitorization, mitigation plans definition and follow-up.
• Assure that risks are being managed effectively within the risk appetite and that proper controls and mitigations are in place to either reduce or eliminate the most critical risks to the existing businesses, assets and strategy.
• Enhance business resilience and preparedness to cope with major foreseeable risk/uncertainties by deploying early warning systems that enable rapid detection to allow adequate and timely responses.
• Monitor external data on the industry, regulatory developments and market trends that may impact Commercial business/strategy.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of risk practices, with particular focus on quantitative methodologies.
• Contribute to develop a risk-awareness culture across organization and further broaden Commercial efforts towards an effective internal risk management practice.
• Incorporate risk intelligence into key management processes such as business planning, performance management, investment decisions and portfolio management.
• Coordinate the Quarterly Risk Committees at leadership team level, covering risk profile, Top risks, mitigation plans and ad hoc risk analysis.
What makes you unique:
'• Bachelor's/Master's degree Economics, Finance, Management, Economic and Financial Analysis.
• Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage complex connections involved in Commercial’s diversified businesses and markets.
• Sound business acumen to quickly grasp key value drivers and business cycle impacting the different Commercial segments.
• High curiosity and a genuine interest in expanding awareness and knowledge about macro context and industry trends.
• Previous knowledge of risk management frameworks (preferred) and proficiency in MS Excel.
• Excellent communication skills for conveying complex risk analysis to audiences with varying levels of risk expertise.
• Ability to deliver high quality communication (written and spoken) in English is a plus.
• Drive, resilience, and flexibility to be part of an BU facing complex business transformation challenges.
• Ability master new tasks and to deliver high quality outputs occasionally in tight deadlines.
