Loyalty Specialist





The Loyalty Specialist is focused on delivering customer loyalty, activation and retention strategies, managing and growing Mundo Galp ecosystem. Our Loyalty Specialist will be working

The successful candidate must have a strong understanding of loyalty programs, marketing campaigns and how to measure their business impact.

This is a pivotal and dynamic role, requiring strong collaboration skills to effectively manage and work with a team based in Portugal and Spain. The Loyalty Specialist will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, Business Units, IT among others to drive digital initiatives and optimize customer engagement.





  • Strategy, definition and management of loyalty campaigns for all products and services based on the brand and business objectives for Portugal market.
  • Support and management of rewards system to improve customer engagement and loyalty.
  • Follow-up the implementation of loyalty program, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align loyalty initiatives and campaigns with broader organizational strategies.
  • Analyse customer data and program metrics to gain insights into customer behavior, preferences, and program effectiveness.
  • Create and maintain relationships with program participants, addressing their queries, concerns, and feedback promptly.
  • Evaluate loyalty program performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with global brand strategy and corporate identity for Galp.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate program performance, key metrics, and insights to management.
  • Budget control.
  • Direct management with the marketing team for all kinds of creative needs.
  • Analyse customer data, market trends, and competition to stay on top of new ideas and see how to adapt them to the loyalty programme.
  • Coordination and management of suppliers and agencies.





  • Degree or master's degree, preferably in Advertising, Marketing or Digital Marketing.
  • 5 years or more of similar experience in loyalty marketing; preferably in the energy field.
  • Expert in analytics, analytical tools, research, and reporting.
  • Highly experienced in analytics. Experience with Power Bi and SQL language is a plus.
  • Database and data manipulation skills.
  • Experience in managing technical requirements for personal data management and GDPR.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English as working language; fluency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Team player & Creativity.
  • Proven ability to manage teams.
  • Strong ability to solve and identify problems.
  • High level of analytical and logical thinking.
  • Good communicator, with the ability to communicate with people at all levels of the company.
  • Highly organised and able to proactively manage schedules and tasks.
  • Methodical and thorough, with special attention to detail.
  • Able to work effectively with others and independently.
  • Energetic, self-motivated and results oriented.
