How can I apply to the Generation Galp Program?

All the information about the Trainees Program / Generation Galp Program is available on Galp's recruiting website - https://jobs.galp.com. In the Generation Galp tab you can consult and get information about the process.

How do I apply fo a job offer at Galp?

You can find all available open opportunities at our site. Once you find a position that suits your interests, you must click on " Apply now" and we will help you to follow the necessary steps. 

Can I submit my resume without applying for a specific opportunity?

If our actual open positions don't match your interests, you should submit your application on the "Spontaneous application" tab. You can also, once you conclude your registration at our "Talent Community", set up your profile to receive job alerts for any future roles you might be interested in.

I would like to have an internship at Galp. How can I send you my CV?

Every needs that may exist, at Galp, to develop internships will be put, as well, as opportunity at our career portal. you may apply, at our site: once you find an internship that may fit your profile and interest, you may click at "Apply now", at the "Internships"' tab and follow the guided steps. 

I am interested in applying for more than one vacancy appearing on Galp's website. Can I complete one application form that will cover all vacancies?

You will have to apply, separately, to all opportunities you are interested in. 

May I have, at Galp, international experiences?

One of the best things about working for a global company is the opportunity to work with many different countries. If there is will and opportunity, you may expect to work at any of our offices around the world. Alternatively, you could find yourself working with many different countries in a global or regional role.

How do I update my profile?

 You can update your profile at any time by logging in to the system and view your account information. There are options to edit any of the information included here. 

How to be sure I submitted my application?

Once your application has been successfully received by the talent acquisition team, you will receive an electronic notification confirming receipt. 

I have applied for a job at Galp. Can I expect to receive a personal response?

We will notify you when we receive your completed application: an email is sent to you as confirmation. At Galp we always give feedback to the applicants, so if you were not contacted yet, that's because the process is still on going.

The application deadline for an external position expired. Can I still apply?

The deadline for application is defined on the position post. The additional applications submitted outside this period will not be considered.

How long will it take to hear from you after the interview?

Once you’ve had your interview, we’ll try to get back to you as soon as possible. In some cases, it may take slightly longer, but, in this situations, your recruiter will be able to advise you about anticipated time frames.

What may be the Coronavirus effects on Galp's Recruitment Processes?

Some positions may be postponed or cancelled. For the existing processes, the defined deadlines may be altered and we may add a few new steps or longer time limits. To everyone's safety, Galp is not allowing stages that demand physical presence. In this cases, all interviews are being scheduled virtually. 

I forgot my password. How do I recover it?

If you have forgotten your password you may, by logging in at our job site, click at "Did you forget your password?". Then, when you write you e-mail, you will receive, at you e-mail, a link to redefine your password. 

When will my profile be inactive?

Your Galp profile will be inactive after 3 years without logging in. 

How can I get back my profile after it went inactive?

To have access to our job opportunities, you have to register again, after your profile went inactive.

Where does Galp positioning in what concerns Equal opportunities?

How can I delete all my data from your database?

Visit our careers site and on the tab "Settings", you will be able to delete your profile. 

Do I need to have experience of working in the energy industry to join Galp?

It depends on the position you’re interested in. Many technical roles require you to have spent time in a similar job and environment, while others require less specific experience and other kinds of requirements. At every open positions, all the necessary requirements will be described at the job description. 

How do I learn about future openings?

If you’d like to be notified of new job openings that may fit your interests, sign up for job alerts. You’ll be able to select your preferences and receive an email when a role, qithin your preferences, is available. Our recruiters are also able to perform searches based on the information provided in your candidate profile, so it’s important to keep this up-to-date. If your experience matches what our recruiters are looking for, they may contact you.

Will you notify me when a job I appllied to has been filled?

You will be notified when you are no longer in consideration for a role you applied to – either by email or directly from the recruiter. We encourage you to keep an eye out for future opportunities and apply again when a role matches your experience and interests. We’ll also keep your resume on file and reach out if we think you may be a good fit for additional roles.

How can I be updated on the current status of a recruitment process?
