You will join Energy Management business unit that include the supply, trading, and dispatch of oil, biofuels, natural gas, electricity, and environmental products - both from Galp's own capital and third parties.
These operations provide greater value along Galp's integrated business chain, as they seek to proactively seize commercial opportunities, maximise the integrated margin, and navigate the dynamics and volatility of the energy market.
About your future Team
The NG Operations team provides overall support to all Natural Gas supply & trading activities, managing the contracts execution and minimizing the associated costs.
How will your day-to-day look like:
- Execute and manage contracts negotiated by the Natural Gas (NG) Supply & Origination, NG desk & NG Logistics areas (including long term trades, logistic swaps, trades negotiated in exchanges and in OTC markets).
- Validation of main contractual terms, price terms, pricing calculations and overall documentation.
- Execute settlements and accruals with external counterparties.
- Daily margin calls reconciliation (for Exchanges) and REMIT reporting.
- Manage all issues, claims or incidents arising from contracts execution.
- Work closely with font desks, corporate areas and all internal stakeholders to address key operational aspects, such as internal and external audits, internal control system and information requests.
- End of Month activities, including NG balance validation, to ensure the correct monthly result (P&L and MtM) in EM accounting.
