Procurement Specialist - Commercial Operations
Mission
You will have the opportunity to manage and execute Procurement & Contracting activities for Galp, seeking cost-effective deals and developing long-term relationships with vendors and contractors. Additionally, you will have the chance to work in the areas of Commercial Operations and Electric Mobility, expanding your knowledge and skills.
You will be highly capable and adaptable, able to develop sourcing strategies for different categories of spend and deliver value and improved operational performance, with a focus on safety and risk management.
What you'll do
- Analyze data and prepare procurement strategies;
- Ensuring that responsible sourcing is prioritized in the sourcing strategies;
- Negotiate contracts to achieve the best value;
- Forecasting price trends and their impact on future activities;
- Develop effective risk management strategies for key suppliers and key contracts;
- Undertaking value-for-money reviews of existing contracts and arrangements;
- Alignment with business objectives;
- Executing value-creation projects;
- Maintain professional relationships with all stakeholders’ networks;
- Keeping up to date with trends, innovations and regulations that can impact business.
What you'll need
- Academic Background in Engineering, Economics or Business Management;
- Proven working experience in Procurement or Electrical Mobility is valued;
- Complementary training in Negotiation is valued;
- Strong analytical skills and goal-oriented;
- Proficiency in English;
- Excellent networking and negotiation skills, result-orientated, attention to details and problem-solving;
- Good computer skills from the user's perspective;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
