Procurement Specialist - Industrial, Services & Logistics

Mission

Galp is looking to reinforce it's teams with a Procurement Specialist, responsible to manage and execute Procurement & Contracting activities for Galp, looking for cost-effective deals and developing long-term relationships with vendors and contractors.
You will be highly capable and adaptable, able to develop sourcing strategies for different categories of spend and deliver value and improved operational performance, with a focus on safety and risk management. 
This exciting opportunity will enable you to challenge yourself personally and professionally as an integral part of Galp’s Global Procurement & Contracts Team.

What you´ll do

• Analyze data and prepare procurement strategies;
• Ensuring that responsible sourcing is prioritized in the sourcing strategies;
• Negotiate contracts to achieve the best value;
• Forecasting price trends and their impact on future activities;
• Develop effective risk management strategies for key suppliers and key contracts;
• Undertaking value-for-money reviews of existing contracts and arrangements;
• Alignment with business objectives and executing value-creation projects;
• Maintain professional relationships with all stakeholders' networks;
• Keeping up to date with trends, innovations and regulations that can impact business.

What you’ll need

• Bachelor degree in Engineer, Economic or Business Management;
• Solid communication and writing skills in English (mandatory);
• Proven working experience in Logistics and complementary training in Negotiation (is a strong plus);
• Excellent networking and negotiation skills;
• Communication capabilities, team player, attention to details;
• Result oriented, resilience, persuasive capacity;
• Organization and planning.
