You will join Energy Management business unit that include the supply, trading, and dispatch of oil, biofuels, natural gas, electricity, and environmental products - both from Galp's own capital and third parties.
These operations provide greater value along Galp's integrated business chain, as they seek to proactively seize commercial opportunities, maximise the integrated margin, and navigate the dynamics and volatility of the energy market.
About your Future Team
You'll be part of the Counterparty & Credit Risk department, which is part of Energy Management's Risk & Middle Office. This department is responsible for the financial, economic and credit risk analysis of clients/potential clients.
How will your day-to-day look like
- Providing support in analyzing EM/Galp's exposure to credit risk;
- Control, monitoring and follow-up of counterparty debt;
- Monitoring EM's credit portfolio and respective KRI's;
- Carrying out credit risk analysis of new counterparties and new businesses;
- Monitoring the processes for issuing PCGs (Parent Company Guarantees);
- Monitoring the processes for issuing bank guarantees.
What makes you unique
- Academic background in Management, Economics or Finance;
- Knowledge of MS Office tools;
- Knowledge of Power BI programming languages (preferred);
- Knowledge of English (required) and Spanish (preferred);
- Good communication skill and ability to work as part of a team;
- Analytical skills and results orientation.
