You will join the Corporate Center, the operational hub that supports our Business Units through a culture of collaboration. This is where all strategic and financial planning, sustainability practices and innovation technologies, risk assessment, and human resources converge to ensure efficient service delivery.
About your future Team:
Our mission is to ensure compliance with the tax obligations of the companies owned by the Group in different jurisdictions, as well as to study and interpret various tax regulations, in order to understand and anticipate their impact on the Galp Group.
As part of your responsibilities, you will also be tasked with recommending tax strategies and/or structures that, while in compliance with the law and Galp’s code of ethics and conduct, help maximize the performance of Galp Group companies.
How will your Day-to-Day look like:

Ensure tax compliance for companies residing in the tax jurisdictions for which you are responsible, covering all applicable tax regulations. This includes preparing tax estimates and tax returns;

Engage with internal clients, anticipating their needs;

Recommend tax strategies aligned with the Group's goals and objectives;

Monitor changes in tax regulations in your jurisdictions and assess their implications for the Group;

Prepare various reports containing tax-related information;

Manage service providers involved in the projects under your responsibility;

Join multidisciplinary teams for the development of various projects, ensuring the tax function is covered.
What makes you Unique:

Degree/Master’s in Management, Economics, or Law;

Postgraduate degree in Taxation (preferred);
-
2 to 4 years of experience in the tax field;

Solid IT skills and experience managing big data applied to Taxation;

Proficiency in English;

Strong interpersonal skills;

Results-oriented and problem-solving mindset;

Critical thinking and attention to detail;

Curiosity and an innovative spirit;

Strong organizational and planning abilities.
