Diversity Commitment

At Galp, we promote equality of opportunity and treatment of people regardless of gender, religion or belief, disability, age, sexual orientation, and race. We believe that equality creates value and strengthens a Group culture.

I joined Galp/Petrogal in 2014 and since then I have worked with Potiguar offshore assets. In my second year in the company, I also became TCR of these assets and could understand a little more beyond the technical area. It has been years of intensive learning, with meetings, hours in front of the workstation, oil wells monitoring and sometimes participation in other projects, such as evaluation of other assets, which makes me very happy to have the possibility to see new areas, different geologies and perhaps the possibility of helping the company to increase its portfolio with good opportunities ...

Simultaneously to my professional growth, I experienced the change of the company's management, the headquarters to Rio de Janeiro, values and mission. It was years of courses, a lot of work, learning and guidance to fit to a new way of working. Among the positive aspects of working at Galp/ Petrogal, I highlight the company care of its employees, always humanized and understanding that in certain moments of life are necessary the partnership among colleagues, work recognition and a solid portfolio. Still on the relationship with colleagues, I can say that most of the time is collaborative, there is always someone willing to help you with a good idea or sit next to you to discuss a problem in order to solve it.
