Enterprise Agile Coach

To guarantee the success of this transition journey, Galp created the Culture, Change & Agility area focused on Cultural Change and Agile ways of working. Integrated in this team, the role of the Enterprise Agile Coach will be crucial to design and implement a successful Agile Transformation Program across the company, in cooperation with the business units, top leadership and business agility teams. 


What you'll do 

  • Work at a strategic level to design and develop the Agile transformation strategy, in alignment with the organization’s vision and goals. 


  • Engage senior leadership and change agents to align the organization with a common vision of new ways of working, creating a sense of urgency and a sustainable change. 
  • Create systemic alignment with the Business Agility Teams to implement the Scale Agile Strategy roadmap, supporting the creation and prioritization of Agile transformation activities and identifying opportunities to continuously improve the agile transformation journey. 
  • Assess the organization agile maturity, identify and implement organizational, operational, and process changes needed to optimize the impact of the Agile journey. Develop and monitor metrics to track progress of Agile adoption. 
  • Grow agile competencies by assisting in development of training, leading workshops and training sessions to educate leadership, teams and individuals on Agile values, principles, and practices. 
  • Create, launch, and facilitate Agile Communities of Practice (CoP) to help foster lean and agile thinking in the organization. 
  • Lead the recruitment management of Agile profiles (Agile coaches, scrum masters, product owners and other agile change agents.) 
  • Lead the Agile competencies development across the company, including the Agile learning portfolio design. 
  • Represent the Agile culture and be a true ambassador for new ways of working at Galp. Create together with the communication team and change agents an internal and external communication plan to support the agile transformation strategy and the dissemination of the agile culture at Galp. 


What you'll need 

  • Experience as Enterprise Agile Coach for 5+ years. 
  • Proven experience involved in large strategic transformations and agile organizational design.  
  • Knowledge of the application of Agile at scale and demonstrated ability to coach and lead the cultural and organizational change.  
  • Be a Change Agent. Strong executive presence and ability to work with and influence senior leaders. Effective communicator able to craft clear and compelling story for diverse audiences.  
  • Be a strategic thinker with the ability to create a collaborative atmosphere for people to engage and make connections across workstreams and matrixed organizations. Confidence and maturity to partner effectively across the organization and challenge the status quo.  
  • Extensive knowledge of Agile frameworks and practices: Scrum; Kanban; Design Thinking; Design Sprint; Lean Inception; Agile Metrics, OKRs (Objectives and Key Results); Facilitation; Management 3.0; Lean; Scale Agile (Nexus, LeSS...). Track record of agile education: training, conferences, user groups, self-study. 
  • Enterprise Agile Coaching certification (eg. CEC) and others relevant certifications (eg. CSM, KSI, IPC-ACC, etc) 
  • Good understanding of System thinking and Organizational behavior 
  • Conflict resolution skills and knowledge of effective problem-solving techniques. Self-starter, results oriented, pragmatic, focused and resilient. 
  • Experience working with ExCom level stakeholders 
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese.
