You will joint the Renewables, New Businesses & Innovation business unit that develops a diversified and sustainable portfolio of renewable energy - solar and wind - with a focus on the Iberian Peninsula. It also maps, evaluates and develops business opportunities in the energy space, such as the battery value chain. 

 

How will your day-to-day look like: 

 

Lead, develop and optimize the Wind O&M function, ensuting the operations with the high standards of Health & Safety, to maximize value, operational performance and long-term profitability of the renewable generation portfolio, maximizing financial performance, regulatory compliance and alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.

 

Wind O&M Strategy
Define and execute the O&M strategy for Wind assets across the full lifecycle.
Standardize asset management processes, governance and KPIs across technologies and geographies.
Operational Performance Excellence
Maximize availability and production through proactive operational oversight and focusing on Safety First
Oversee O&M strategies, contract performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Drive root-cause analysis and technical performance optimization.
Management
Ownership of annual budgets, OpEx control, CapEx planning and long-term business plans.
Coordinate closely with trading/energy management teams to maximize revenues
Transactions & Value Creation
Provide O&M leadership on M&A, divestments, refinancing and repowering opportunities.
Lead technical, operational and contract-related due diligence activities.
Risk, Compliance & HSE
Ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual, environmental and HSE requirements.
Proactively manage operational, technical and financial risks.
Team Leadership & Development
Build, lead and develop a high-performing O&M team.
Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Stakeholder Management
Act as senior interface with lenders, investors, partners, OEMs, regulators and internal stakeholders.
Represent O&M at senior management and investment committees.

 

What makes you unique: 

 

Location: Madrid (Residency Required)
Deep expertise in Wind O&M at portfolio scale (>300 MW / 5 years).
Strong understanding of O&M strategies, long-term service agreements and O&M negotiations.
Solid financial acumen (Budgeting and business planning).
Experience supporting M&A transactions and technical due diligence.
Leadership experience managing senior, multidisciplinary teams.
Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Fluent Spanish and English. Portuguese a plus
