Tank Farm Technician

You will join the Industrial business unit that includes the refining, logistics, and cogeneration activities in the Iberian Peninsula, as well as the project to transform the Sines refinery through green hydrogen and biofuels.
About your future Team
You will join Tanquisado Terminal team, in the Industrial - Refining Optimization and Logistics area, where you’ll be part of the journey to maintain, develop and operate a safe and profitable asset, and promote a safe work environment.
How will your day-to-day look like
- Open and close the tanks by operating valves, in order to guarantee the daily dispatch of products and their transfer;
- Proceed with supplying ships to the pier, in accordance with current regulations;
- Monitor the loading and unloading of tank cars, to ensure that all internal safety procedures are complied with;
- Drain tanks and low points in the shipping circuits and check the functioning of the equipment, to ensure that it is in good condition for use;
- Carry out 1st level maintenance work, including lubrication and conservation painting and identification of equipment and circuits, in order to guarantee their operability;
- Carry out readings and recording of procedural variables and product movements/transfers, in order to guarantee product traceability;
- Proceed with the preparation/addition of additives, in order to guarantee the specification of the products;
- Maneuver load moving and lifting machines;
- Carry out risk analyzes of maintenance work, participating in filling out the respective authorizations, so that they are carried out with maximum safety.
What makes you unique
- Academic level completed High School;
- Minimum professional experience of 3 years in petroleum product movement activities;
- Orientation towards results and continuous improvement and team work;
- Knowledge of the English language (valued);
- Computer knowledge from the user's perspective;
- Availability to work in Setúbal;
- Availability for shift work, travel on duty and own vehicle.
